HOPE  has completed its 5th year. We want to express our sincere appreciation for everyone’s prayers, monetary and physical support. Without these, HOPE would not exist. HOPE now consist of 2 gardens instead of 3. The property at St Stephens will no longer be available due to new businesses coming into the area. WNCEA thanks Catawba County Schools for the privilege of utilizing the property and helping us initiate the HOPE Project. HOPE completed 2014 with a production of 3,453 lbs of vegetables and fruit. This year’s production brings our 5 year total to 15,603 lbs.

We are looking forward to 2015. Until then, have a blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we’ll see you in March 2015!

Be sure to check the link for Western Piedmont Association of Health Underwriters’ (WPAHU) Annual Charity Golf Tournament Fundraiser on June 3rd @ the Glen Oaks Golf Club in Maiden. WPAHU has chosen to support WNCEA’s HOPE Garden Project this year.

We are looking forward to  this season and excited in seeing our longtime volunteers, as well as welcoming new comers!
